Welcome to our Gite in the Wine Capital of Europe
Our 100 years old, open beamed, typical French, spacious village gite is available to rent for your self-catering family holiday. We have over 300 days of sunshine per year on average.
This disabled friendly gite sleeps 10, comprising 1 bedroom with king-size bed, 2 bedrooms each with a double bed and 2 bedrooms each with twin beds. A double sofa bed is also available in the lounge. With secure, off-road parking and easy wheelchair access.
Located in the traditional, small French village of Salles d'Aude with baker, butcher, chemist, supermarket (with fuel) and restaurants all within easy walking distance.
Only 10km from the picturesque town of Narbonne, famous for the Canal du Midi and 15km south east of historic Béziers. 15 minutes drive from the golden sandy beaches of the Mediterranean. Within 45 minutes of 4 airports (Béziers, Perpignan, Carcassonne and Montpellier) all serviced by low cost airlines.
Easy access to many activities available in the area including walking, canoeing, fishing, horse riding, various water sports, a large outdoor aqua park (Aqua Jet) and boulodrome.
We are avid motorcyclists and have some of the best roads in the world on our doorstep. Our gite makes the ideal base from which to tour and explore this beautiful, scenic and historic part of the world. Suggested rides available on request.
Enjoy the spectacular scenery, gastronomic food, prehistoric sites, enchanting chateaux, Cathar castles and colourful local markets.
